PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The Pulaski County Special School District is looking for highly skilled and passionate personnel to serve in the 26 schools within our District. The Human Resources Department will host a career fair for those interested in pursuing a career with the District.
“PCSSD is a great place to work. We truly strive to put our scholars first in every decision that we make,” said Shawn Burgess, superintendent for Human Resources. “For me, that means putting the very best talent in our schools and departments in an effort to make a positive impact and help our scholars be the very best they can be.”
The District is hiring for a number of different positions, including enthusiastic classroom teachers, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, transportation, clerical, food service, and security staff.
The PCSSD Career Fair will take place Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maumelle High School, 100 Victory Lane, Maumelle, AR. This is an opportunity to meet with administrators and staff of each school and department to discuss employment opportunities for the 2022-2023 school year.
“I am excited to meet the new people who may be interested in making a difference in the lives of the PCSSD scholars,” Burgess added.
We are hiring for all positions and invite interested employees to come and connect with our schools.
PCSSD is unique in that it spans over much of Pulaski County, including portions of Little Rock and North Little Rock, and includes all of Maumelle and Sherwood.
