PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will be hosting 2 workshops where education specialists will be available to assist families and students with completing their FAFSAs for the 2022-2023 school year. Seeing as the FAFSA is a very important part of the financial aid process, and since the sooner the FAFSA is submitted the more money is available from schools, the U.S. Department of Education urges everyone to complete it before the end of 2021. For this upcoming year, the Pell Grant award is up to $6,495.
The FAFSA in Fifteen Minutes events will be held on:
Thursday, December 9, 5:30-7 pm
Saturday, December 11, 12-3 pm
On December 9, a free catered dinner will be available for participants. On December 11, free lunch will be available. Financial aid services are always free.
Students must be from Lonoke, Pulaski, or Saline counties. The goal of these sessions is to raise the financial aid application rates of Arkansans.
