PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- Beginning July 1, 2020 the Special Education Department of the Pulaski County Special School District will start to destroy special education records which are six years old or more. According to State and Federal guidelines, special education records should be destroyed within six years after a student leaves the program.
If you are a former student of PCSSD and received special education services during the school year of 2013-2014, you have the right to receive your records before they are destroyed. If you are a student and requesting your records you must be eighteen years old or older.
Special Education records will be available to be emailed or mailed to your address May 20 thru June 26, 2020. Please email your request for records along with a copy of your identification card to nmadison8264@pcssd.org. You may also leave a message for Natalie Madison at (501) 234-2417.
THESE RECORDS ARE NOT PERMANENT SCHOOL RECORDS. THEY ARE ONLY SPECIAL EDUCATION DUE PROCESS FORMS AND EVALUATION DATA.
