PCSSD Virtual Consultation Meeting Invitation with Private Schools/Home School Parents Regarding Special Education Services for the 2024-2025 School Year
PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The meeting will be held virtually on Friday, March 8 from 9-10 a.m. This meeting is for all K-12 Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) resident students registered as homeschool status with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and to Private School Representatives of private schools that are located within the PCSSD attendance boundaries. As part of PCSSD’s efforts to ensure ongoing consultation, all private schools and any homeschool parents and representatives of children with disabilities are invited to participate in the discussion before making final decisions. Consultations will include but are limited to, discussions regarding PCSSD’s Child Find Procedures and meaningful discussions regarding specialized instruction and service plans. The meeting is specific to special education services. Following consultation with private school/homeschool representatives, PCSSD will attempt to secure written service agreements for the 2024-2025 school year.
