Beginning July 1, 2024, the Special Education Department of the Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) will start destroying students' special education records (due process forms and evaluation data). Records will be destroyed within six years after a student has left the program. If you are a former student or legal guardian of a student who received special education services during the school year 2017-2018, you have the right to receive your records before they are destroyed. These records are not permanent school records.
Special Education records will be available for pickup at the PCSSD Special Education Department at 3924 Neely Road, Little Rock, AR 72206. Applicable participants in the program may pick up records from April 1 through June 27, 2024. You must bring your state-issued identification card. To arrange a time for pickup, contact the Records Secretary at (501) 234-2417 or the Data Entry Specialist at (501) 234-2432. If there is no response, call (501) 234-2436.
