ALE students in the Maumelle Construction and Water Distribution pathway learned how water meters work thanks to the Central Arkansas Water (CAW) Distribution and Customer Service department. They brought a set up that included an analog and a digital meter, showing students how to read the meter to know if there is a water leak. Students used a device to read a meter in a box that was flooded with murky water. The CAW volunteers also talked about their job duties and answered questions from students and staff.









March is Social Work Month, and the 2025 theme is Compassion + Action. In a school setting, social workers show compassion *and* take action while supporting students' mental health. Thanks for all you do! #pcssdproud #serveall

Maumelle High 10th grade students n the health science and nutrition and dietetics pathways went on an industry tour to AR Surgical Hospital and the PCSSD Mainline Health Clinic. Students learned about careers in the healthcare industry. Students also got to watch knee and shoulder replacement surgeries.
