
The Maumelle High School Jazz Ensemble performed in the second annual ARJE State Jazz Festival at Nettleton High School on April 13th. The ensemble earned ALL first division superior ratings for their performance. We are so proud of our students’ hard work this year especially preparing this challenging program. Go Hornets!


Last week, MILLS UNIVERSITY STUDIES hosted the Area 5 Special Olympics outdoor events. Schools from across central Arkansas competed in various events. Pulaski County Youth Services is offering FREE ACT Prep sessions in May. ACT sessions are encouraged for 9th-12th grade students. All applicants are encouraged to attend each session for an attainable score.

Several talented students attended the Arkansas Young Artist Association Competition in Hot Springs yesterday and came away with high honors. This is the first time since 2015 that Maumelle High School competed for state titles against the best art programs in the state! Drumroll please....
