Our pre-K students are taking a tour of holidays around the world. Last week, they learned about St. Lucia’s Day, a festival that marks the beginning of the Christmas season in Scandinavia. The students even got to roll their sleeves up and try their hand at forming the traditional S-shaped lussekatter buns. They loved all the hands-on literacy fun!
Our pre-K students were taught about Kwanzaa and its principles. Each student made either a necklace or bracelet.
